Thanks S1 , I think i am planning on filling in those areas . As far as covering I am looking at two options .
1)Glass
2)a cloth type iron on and dope finish .
Dont know yet on the scheme , comsidering green /gray botton -(but scale colers) .with either Flying tigers or skull. Being a Flying Tiger fanatic I nevr thouoght i would do a skull but this will be one of three P40 in my hanger .
To briefly tell you how the bash started -the covering suck , it was green /gray with a sky blue bottom.If you tried to re-heat it became a prune . So firts I covered the gray cameio with tan and lt looked great but the overall covering was very wrinkled .
So as I strarted to pull the covering off I noticed that the plane was very well made , all seems glued , bulkhead reinforced ect ect . So I decided why not take it further . I have to post more pics because I am further along .

If I dont glass any suggestion on good cloth iron on covering that dose not show seems ?
