i have some hs-55's on my 36" electric foamy and use a hitec electron 6 receiver, my tx is the t6xa which is the spitting image of the 6exa but it has more bells and whistles. It might be a positive shift receiver that he was referring to which only work with JR and airtronics i think, make sure its a negative shift reciever which works with Futaba and Hitec tx. You could also get a berg reciever. The electron 6 is a 6 channel receiver considerably light, dual conversion, and is only about 50-60 dollars, im not experienced wiht berg recievers but you could use one of those also
