I'm a digital slr enthusiast myself- I've had both a Kodak DCS 315 and 620 and now a Nikon D1...the EOS 1D is awesomely fast- too bad the EOS 1DS is a bit slower- but the CMOS sensor gives awesome noise free images. The Canon D60 is awesome too (used a D30 alot myself)....the picture quality shows in the photos you've shown....
