Default RE: Electric Combat??

No real reason to get nasty,,the problem with brushless motors and li-po batteries is that people actually buy them,,,I dont have $200 for a motor another $100 for a few batteries another $100 for an esc and a charger.... actually I do but I would never spend that on an electric set up..as long as people do, well it'll take longer for that kind of stuff to come down in price,, I got enough power in my 1/2A glow engine to tote around regular Ni-cad batts,, and I dont want to fly my GWS stick for 45 minutes on those li-po batteries...I have seen a large Warbird (spitfire I believe) on electric fly like heck for about 15 minutes,,it was impressive...and it was nicad, with a batt pak as big as my arm......just my 2 cents...Rog
