RE: pizazz problems
i have a pizzazz and i played with lots of combat spads, pizzazz is a great plane will do all you can think of and lot more. make it as light as you can, in my case, i changed the landing gear to a lighter one i had, cut all the parts not necessary, like the engine compartment i cut flush with the firewall, used a carbon push rod. i had a st 40 on it and it was ok but underpowered, then i got 12.5- 3.25 prop and that made all the differ in the world. the prop is made for 3-d try it i think you will love it. but dont think pizzazz wont 3-d at least for the beginning you will have your hands full, Faust get it light, use a mini servo on the engine if you can, maybe smaller tank, for me 6oz works the best. about spads just set them right and they will be good planes, the only thing they dont keep trim very good, for some reason(maybe temp) trim changes from day to day, but most importantly dont be afraid to play around, try many diff. things, experiment, at least thats my favorite part of this hobby. in my pizzazz i even cut the covering off the wings and the tail and cut holes in the ribs and the tail. my came out at 3.75lb ready to fly and does great with a super tiger 40 with 12.5- 3.25, man but that prop makes a lot of diff. anyway have fun and let us know what how it went
