After a couple of hard landings with my Laser 200 and ripping out the gear mount plate and more, I discovered the wonder and beauty of nylon bolts! I had the grass and mud suck the landing gear right off a few weeks back and all that broke were the nylon bolts - nothing else.

Nylon bolts are your friend....
