Default RE: Will this work

I have seen people refer to prices for individual recievers and servos+ batteries and switches which adds up to 1 50 dollars but the flight packs that are complete packages are 100 dollars from tower and all you need to buy extra is the 10 crystal. You might be able to find it considerably cheaper on ebay. I suggest you stay with the 4 channel until you find out if you are still going to be in the hobby after the first couple of crashes (I remeber talking in the background on my first crash whether or not I would be back, the wing came off and the plane went nose first in) the 6 exa is too much of a inbetween radio in my opinion. It is a step above a four channel but not sufficiently endowed with computer features for more advanced models. I was happy with it for 6 months before I knew any better, the fourth plane I built showed me the radios short falls. I built a sig ultimate fun fly and the rudder through that I had for hi performance flying was too excessive for landing and takeoff and the dual rates on the 6 exa only affectected elevator and ailerons. My next radio was a 9c which I have room to grow into but the 7c looks like a nice radio too. The new 9c I know can come with the spectra synthesized transmitter module allowing you to transmit on any frequency and I know the hitec recievers can add any crystal you want to recieve on any frequency without regard to hi lo bands that the futaba recievers have to follow
