RE: Learning to fly with a mid-wing tail dragger????
Fastsky, good input on the radio selection. Hopefully all those beginners out there can see the wisdom of staying in the $90 to $150 range for their first radio instead of the $250 to $500 range (7 or 9 channel) that I've seen some people advocate. I've happily flown for years without needing more than 4 channels. However, I will say that there are many features on the 6EXA, and the other basic computer radios, that even a beginner can benefit from. If they can swing the extra $30 to $50, the intro level computer radios are worth a look.
