No, no recall, but they are aware of a problem with the engine dying due to sudden stops, such as landing or grabbing the plane to stop it while it is taxiing. Their fix for that is a different pulse pickup location. They also have done an upgrade to the con-rod and rod bearings, as there have been random issues with the previous design. And, from what I gather on the other forums, they had a bad run of cranks where the heat treating wasn't done right and was causing failures. It seems that most of these failures are about a handful out of many,many engines, and DA says the likelyhood of such failures are slim. However, with that said, they STILL recommend sending the engine in for the upgrades, just to be sure...
