Default RE: IMAC plane selection question?

Yeah John, I guess the WH planes I have flown must all be lemons! .. if 2 rolls per second is unbelieveably slow that is.

I agree with you - it is all in the hands of the pilot and even the way the plane is set up. I have snapped the WH Edge so hard I thought for sure I'de break the wing tube.. it took everything I could give it and more. On high rates rolls were so fast it was hard to control where they ended.

I have a CA 31% with a 3W-75i and its a monster at under 20 pounds.

Matt52X - you're looking in the right place and you have the attention of some good pilots.. but you are showing your age! You already seem to know everything and you are ready to fly the TOC before even owning your first big plane!

I was a teenager too.. and did the same thing you are doing - We all have learned the (expensive) hard way that we need to crawl before we can run. Share with us your experience level, what you fly now, who you fly with (level of experience) what you will be competing in (sounds like freestyle?) and most importantly how much you can afford to spend and we probably can point you in the direction you want to go.

As for saying you want a plane to do everything and do it well without fuss - well most of us have been flying for years and we still haven't found that so if you do let US know!!
