If you epoxied the ring standoff to teh firewall and filled the square hole it would be just fine. Still, your decision to ge the D50 is sound and you'll be VERY pleased you did ovver the 42... Now the 52 Taurus would be just great!

I can have Princess hold the motor on the firewall and take a picture if you like, the bottom bolt misses the firewall. there are 5 bolts in total, maybe 4 is good enough??
