RE: IMAC plane selection question?
Well it did fall into my budget restricsions until it fell, I'll explain. I had it with a ST G2300 in it. I never got that engine runnuing perfect but it flew that plane around pretty well. Anyway, I flew that plane to a pretty good IMAC style but, the only problem was It couldn't do any extreme manuever because it would always snap EXTREMELY. Well I learned how to fly with the snap until picture time at our fields chilli fly Jan 1. I did a very low roll about 10ft off the ground I wanna say and when I got to the first rudder position it couldn't hold the plane as level as what I thought it could do. So, I rolled it under and gave it more than normal down elevator SNAP flips over to the other side so I pull the elevator up cause it snapped into a dive 5ft off the the ground SNAP BOOOOM! Explodes in a barb wired fence on one side of the street and, in peices, landed on the otherside. A man once told me "The greater the experience, the greater the crashes." Well he was right.
So that's why I don't fly that plane anymore and am lokin for one that has complete control in the air and doesn't snap or rock.
With thatt said here are the final three I am picking from(All will have a DA-50 in them):
WH Edge 540 27% 18lbs. / TOC Edge 540 30% 15-16lbs. / Planes Plus Extra 330 27%16-17lbs.
If you think there's one better I'd like to know but I don't plane on a kit build. If not, wich one do you think would be the best performer for my standards?
