I'm not familer with that caddy, but it wouldn't be uncommon to have to cut the hole larger to accomidate a larger panel... I'm sure the manufacture would cut the hole as small as possible... You can always make it bigger... Much harder to make it smaller...

As for charging, yes, the "starter" jacks on the panel will tie straight through to your battery... That's where you'll charge it from.
