Default RE: DPM Edge 540 T engine choice.

Dave actually mentions the zdz 40 on his website under weights of the Edge, for IMAC type flying a gas might be better because of down line breaking with the bigger prop, for more of a 3D plane I would do glow like I had or the OS 160. I spoke with Dave at the AMA convention in Ontario and we talked about both engines, He strongly recommended me to use 2 servo's for the ailerons with the ZDZ, he also mentioned that he used a gas engine on one of the proto-types, I believe a FOX engine, he said that he liked it alot. Whatever you decide to do, you will have a nice flying plane, I just got my Somenzini 72" Yak and I will be putting my 140DZ on that, and today I just received my 87" TOC Yak that I will be putting a DA50 on. I have alot of ARF building to do, I have seen some DPM edges for sale here on RCU, one was new in the box if I remember right, you might check there to try to buy one, usually see one once a month or so.

Take Care
