I weight 13 lbs, 14 oz. and no extraordinary weight saving measures. I have a decent size five cell battery. Everything else is stock. One servo per aileron and I did a single pull-pull servo on both the elevator halves and on the rudder. The throttle servo is small.



I think you could EASY get one into the mid/low 13's. The engine is small for the plane. Maybe the Goldberg Sukhoi or the Quiqui YAK is more like it.
