Default RE: Extreme Flight 87" Yak 54 - Build & Fly

ORIGINAL: DrScoles

So how many times should I have to flip this motor over before I see fuel goiing to the carb???

Thanks, Mike

Mike,

Try this for a starting sequence.

* Throttle open all the way. Choke closed. Ignition off.
* Pull the prop through compresion about ten times.
* Throttle idle. Ignition on. Choke closed. Try and start the motor. It should pop after several flips. It will die after it pops because the choke is closed.
* Choke off and after a few more flips it will be running.

If not, Check all your plumbing. Make sure every fuel conection has a tie wrap on it. Even inside the tank.
I have 8 tie wraps on my 2 line fuel system.
