Default Considering first time purchase of Nitro Boat, 2 choices?

I am new to RC boating and am doing some research to help my kids by a RC boat. They will likely want a Nitro powered boat. The boat will be used by a 13 and 14 year old with some supervision. They will likely use it off the back of their ski boat so a return to shore function is not a big consideration. Ease of use and ability to handle rough water is an important factor. Durability is important as well, don’t want a finicky hard to tune, repair or maintain boat. Part availability is important as well.

Narrowed it down to two choices, open to other suggestions as well, URL listed is not necessarily where I would buy it from. Just a link I found.

Leaning toward the Proboat shockwave for its speed and size.

Ok, which one is best for my needs and why?
What online retailer gives the best service and who should I support?
What additional parts should I order with either choice?

Thanks for any info…

I posted this in the Nitro forum as well, new to the board so not sure which forum would get the best response...
