Last Saturday I tested it (on the ground) for overheating and the modifications have fixed the problem. It was too windy to test fly however.
Today we tried again. Jerry Nichols - a good pilot at the Chula Vista field - did the honors. I took the controls for a little while too.
It is small and not easy for me to see. Also very quick and responsive. I will tame it down a little before going on. There are a number of modifications to the design before I order laser cutting for any kits but maybe in 6-8 months I can get it out.
