I got mine to balance at 5" CG at 16.5 pounds, but it took a lot of effort, carbon wing tube, stab tube, landing gear, spinner, tail gear and servo rails. I also had to mount everything I could on the firewall (batts, regs, ignition, etc). The pull-pull servo is as far forward as it can go (in front of the tank!!).

I ended up not liking the way it flew at 5" CG, so I caved and added 6 oz of weight to the nose to move the CG up to 4.75".. it now flies like it should. I am close to 17 pounds now... even with $300 worth of Carbon!

Had it to over again, I would have got the EF Yak. People are getting under 16 pounds with NO carbon. At $649 the EF yak cost the same as this plane and is one of the nicest planes I have laid eyes on.
