it wouldnt work, but what you would need is a system much like hpi's rotostart, i have beat the crap outta mine, and never broken anything. What it does is uses an electric motor inside a handheld unit, to spin a shaft. The shaft then goes into a seperate unit, attached to the backplate with screws. The shaft plugs into what is like a driveline cup on rc trucks. It is then reduced by gears, and the final gear is on the engine shaft, using a one way bearing to spin the shaft, starting the engine.
