Sorry, I did miss your last post.
If you can fly those other models, you'll have no problem with the Cessna 182.
I would recommend going with the 4-channel model. If you are not comfortable with left stick rudder yet, simply unplug the aileron cable and plug the channel 4 rudder cable into channel 1. You will then have no ailerons and rudder on the right stick. The Cessna will fly just fine.
I may try it myself if this weather ever gets better. We got spoiled for over a week with May-like conditions and now we are back to the rain, cold, and wind often seen in April in NY.
