What do you think about these 4 planes?
I had the Pfalz DIII for a while...
Use the Graupner 280 4:1 gearbox and it worked great.
I ran 8 x 500mAH NiMH cells which gave me 10-15 minutes
flights with plenty of power.
I also used iron-on carbon fibre on the landing gear struts
to strengthen them. Never had any problems with them.
I especially liked doing long slow touch 'n go's on blacktop!
If you fly off of grass, takeoffs and landings will take a LOT
of practice to get it right, i.e., not flip over!
