RE: Extreme Flight 87" Yak 54 - Build & Fly
My setup is a ZDZ50NG on a AMT tuned pipe -
props -shown here used today -- 23x8 by JAS a wooden copy of the Mejzlic from Czech Republic- 7200 static.
The hover shots are using a Mejzlic 22x8 - turning 7750 static. This one is not as good for the sequence stuff but is the better 3Dsetup -instant acceleration.Most aerobatic stuff pulls well at less than 1/2 throttle on the 23x8 .
As soon as the weather clears up we will try other props but honestly it really does not seem to matter much .
The 15.25 lb weight allows very low throttle application for all but pulling from sinking rolls and hovers.
I am extremely pleased with the entire setup
