I believe it is being called an "anurism" now which I don't know if Chris Hinson from Extreme Flight created this maneuver, but I see him use it all the time. Basically it is the same snap you would use in a blender but on a horizontal line and not vertical. Down elevator, left aileron, right rudder. Now I know this is nit-picking, but isn't 3-D flight really supposed to be "stalled" flight instead of some of these crazy snaps? Like a knife edge spin/drop I would never classify as a 3-D maneuver. But a "death slidE" where you are getting about 45 deg attitude out of the fuse I would.
BTW- I saw Hinson do this with his 107" Yak at the XFC and I love how violent the maneuver is. It's a good maneuver to add to your list of moves. Just be sure to have a plane that can take it.
