Reduce the throw, NO. Retrac servos have one throw, 180 degrees, no more no less. What you have to do is put the connections where the 180 will be the amount of travel you want.

I also have the Rambler 45 and used the 75BB for the retract servo. I found that using the small servo arm I could attach the connectors at the outer most holes and it worked perfectly.
