RE: GROUP BUILD - Top Flite Giant Scale F4U Corsair
Engine: First time gasser here also. Most likely will order a G62 but low noise is a priority.
Retracts: Robarts which are scheduled for late June arrival.
Wheels: Manual calls for 4.5". Just looked at Robart website and noticed huge price jump when going from 4" to 4.5". Open to suggestions on that.
Finish: First time to try fiberglassing. Undecided on Poly vs Z-poxy so far. Also like to try the latex.
Markings: WW2 three color Marine F4U1a.
Details: I'd like to concentrate on a nice cockpit with a sliding canopy. And a first try at realistic weathering.
