I have a LipoDapter too and it's great. Works with my Astro 112D and SuperTurbo 250S. True it doesn't charge them completely but enough to fly them without a great loss in run time. Sure lipos are dangerous and I charge in a Pyrex pot and don't leave them unattended, but I believe this device is as safe and a lipo charger. It won't let the batteries overcharge. Of course you have to set the right charge rate on your nicad charger.
