Default Pictures of a Taurus Replica Pattern Ship

Here are pictures and comments of an outstanding job on a Taurus/Primus. The Taurus was a pattern plane designed in 1963 by Ed Kazmirski. The Primus is a present day replica of the Taurus and is manufactured by Home and Hobby Solutions.

Brian writes:
"Don, of Dadeville, Al, built it and it is powered with an OS .61FX and it uses Futaba gear. It flies straight up nearly out of sight and tracks well. It is Don's intention to fly it in SPA events. It got a lot of comments and several folks asked for your web site. Don and I intend to fly at least one at our contest and I hope to get to at least one other during the season.

Rick H asked about the plane after he flew Don's.... he is a very respected and accomplished pattern flyer. He was third at the NATs a few years ago and can fly a dishwasher if you could get it up to air speed. If he goes to the contest in Atlanta, we will offer the Taurus to him to fly.

It is covered with fabric ( I think it is lining material he bought at the yard good store.) It is then painted with clear dope and trimmed in Orange with white over the joints."
