I just soloed with an Hobbico Avistar. The Avistar has a semi symmetrical airfoil that will (hopefully) allow the plane to do more than a trainer with a flat bottom wing. My instructor saved my plane many times but the time I spent on the simulator (G2) was a tremendous help!
