JD, the LVC must be set at 9.0v for the 3s packs and 6.0v for the 2s packs. You will ruin this battery pack even trying to use it for a little while due to the current the setup is wanting to pull. I like the apogee batteries and the 2170 or 2480 is a great pack. You'll like this motor but only if you have the batteries to support it's thirst for power.
