Default RE: Sig Something Extra Kit

Manny,

I'm using the Dubro on mine and should have plenty of clearance - I'm planning on a Saito .72/.82. (The .72 got transplanted on my T2 and I haven't yet decided on a replacement) The dubro gear should allow a 13" prop. There is also other carbon-fibre gear available from tntlandingear and fiber-lite with plenty of clearance, but they're a lot pricier than the dubro. There are no instructions to sheet the turtledeck, but I did mine with 1/16" balsa. I took 1/16" off of the edge of all of the formers and notched the stringers 1/16" deeper. I matched the edge of the sheeting up with the edge of the fuse side and sanded flush. I've still got some more shaping around the cowl to do, but so far, I'm generally pleased with the construction.
