Take off the foam wing tape and put a bead of silicone rubber on there to seal the wing/fuse joint.

Tape a piece of Handi-Wrap (or the backing sheet from monokote) to the wing. Make it tight so there are no wrinkles. Make it wide enough to extend out 2 inches on each side of the fuselage.

Clean the saddle area with alcohol and let dry. Run a good bead of silicone caulk on the saddle and then mount the wing. Let dry for 24 hours. Undo the tape on the wing and remove wing. Carefully peel the plastic wrap off. Instant seal!

You can use any plastic model paint on the canopy if you paint on the inside.
