Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

Salty25,
Thanks for confirming the vent line setup, it does help a lot. That's exactly what I want to use, although I did plan to put my fuel filler valve about the same height as the rest of the fuel system to avoid the problem you describe. Technically, due to the static pressure head in the tank, having the fuel filler valve down so low should not affect fuel flow until the tank is nearly dry, but Murphy loves to thumb his nose at technical issues, doesn't he?
I noticed that some of you are placing the tank on a tray with a piece of wood designed to ensure the tank doesn't contact the firewall. I'm really glad to see those suggestions, because I am convinced that the lines will kink if the tank is that far forward. I can almost feel this happening as I trial fit the tank over and over, never really confident that it will work against the firewall like that. I was wondering how to solve this(even considered mounting the tank sideways, which eliminates the kinks), until I found those posts/pics. Thanks, guys.
