I dunno Ken,
HPI are such a big presence already in the 1/8th scale world, I'm sure that there'll be plenty of people who'll transfer over to 1/5th scale, purely because of the brand name. They don't have to prove their Marque. As long as it's the right price, my thinkin' is that it'll sell rapidly and even top FG's 'King of the Hill' status. It would be like Ferrari getting into motorcycles. Sure they've never done it before, but that wouldn't stop me buying one if it was the right price!
