Default RE: Engine for a GP Cap 232 40

Hi Gum,

There is another thread about the GP CAP 232 40 where must people agree that a .50 2-stroke is the perfect power for this airplane. You can chose between different brands. Personally, I tried a Magnun 0.52 in a heavier airplane ~7lb. and the Magnun is capable of pulling the airplane to almost unlimited vertical. I am please with it. The warning is the adjustment of this engine is very sensitive. But, in general, I would still buy another magnun. It is the same case of the 40s but with much power. A 60 engine would be too much heavy for this airplane.

As you do, I still have my kit in the shelf. I decided to assemble a Dazzler before the CAP because it is faster to build and I already had an engine for it. For the CAP. I need to buy another engine.

Hope it helps,

Pedro
