It sounds to me like your pitch curves are not set correctly on your radio - I would recommend setting the pitch curves at mid-stick throttle (this is your left stick), you should be 0 pitch - at full throttle, you should be at about 9 degrees pitch, and I would be careful with putting to much negative pitch at low throttle position because the tendancy for new pilots is when something starts to go wrong, they try to pull the throttle stick all the way down - if you have it set at 6-7degrees negative pitch, you will drive the landing gear and the bottom end of the heli hard into the ground. If you don't know how to set this, refer to your radio manual - it usually gives some recommended settings for this!
