Default Small scale electric

Hi - I'm looking for some recommendations on a small "scale" electric...

I have an E-Starter powered by an AXI outrunner and a 2c Li-Po pack. Its nice but pretty limited in what you can do. I can fly around, loop, roll, do basic turns, stall turns etc and land this plane easily. It performs well with the AXI but it's pretty boring... I also really dislike foamies (don't flame me, please.)

I also have a P51 PTS that I am being instructed on (it's only got he wing extensions on it now and I'll be soloing soon.)

I have lots of sim time.

I'm looking for a scale electric NON FOAMY to practice with so I don;t have to go out to the field allt he time. I love the new EFlite Edge 540 but I think it may be too much for me... is there anything scale but more of sport plane than a 3D? Would it be possible to fly a 540 on low rates and learn basic aerobatics on it or is that just asking for trouble? What would people recommend as a good 2nd E plane that scale-like (remember, no foamies )

Thanks,
Chris.
