I did not use the wire landing gear that came with it. Instead, I used a hangar9 aluminum landing gear. I attached it using three nylon bolts with blind nuts. I liked it very much so far because I do not have to worry about bending the LG. If I land too hard, the plane will bounce and I will have time to pull it up again and try one more time.
