The autostart 44 is no longer in production from what I've been told. A buddy has two 44's, one with a starter included but not autostart. This started fine until the starter clutch jammed on & oversped the electric motor. We removed it & just start it with the wand while the pod starter is being fixed. Be careful with the rubber on the wand starter, it's just a normal grommet & ours split along the groove but fortunately was not sucked in [X(]. I found some large silicon tube which fitted totally inside the starter cone, not half in/half out like the grommet. - John.
