As for the the low battery warning, have you checked what that parameter is st at? Its not in the normal menu, its in the one that you access by pressing the first and third button from the left just after you switch on. It should be in the instruction manual which one of the number index relates to allowed ecu voltage. If I remember right the "start bad" comes on when the gas does not get 50 deg above the temp which you initiated the start at.
