I have done a half and half. I bought the U-Can-Do and tore all the covering off. After this was done I was pretty pleased with how it was put together. Very strong and well done. Then I covered it the way I wanted to. All the speed of ARF with the personal touch of a kit...sort of.
Plus I saved about a half a pound.
