Out of interest, are you using air rams or servos to operate the doors? I was going to use servos so that I could use a door sequencer and use that to simply adjust the endpoints so the doors didn't foul the smoke pod?!
Also, what hinges have you used to hinge the nose gear doors? I am going to install everything to do with the nose gear at the weekend and am just thinking through the process and gathering parts.
