What didn't you like about the metal wing bolts? I've used them on both of my WM Caps, the 120 and 46R without any trouble. The only hardware I've upgraded on either plane was the aileron rods on the 120. (I went with 4-40 all thread for adjustability- not needed, but just wanted to) On the contrary, I threw away most of the hardware from my Sportsman Aviation Sport Stick and Model Tech Extra 300 (worthless junk). Read the reviews on any WM product. They make some of the best ARF's on the market.
