RE: Rut-Ro... CA on the Dining Room Table
It appears that the castor actually ate the finish on this table. A couple of nights ago, I pulled the plans up, then wiped down where the plans were stuck. The spots came clean, but the castor ate a spot down to bare wood. Fortunately the table has a flat finish on it, but at an obtuse angle you can see where the finish was eaten through.
I figured I'd leave the plans over top of the marks as I needed time to figure out a plan to "fix" them. She recognized the marks on the plans and figured "something" must have happened to her table. Subsequently, I got an ear full when I got home from work yesterday. It's a real shame too because the table is a full 8 ft long with the leaves installed. I guess it's back to the basement, even with just studying a set of rolled plans
