I really don't expect any problems with the slow flight on this plane. I had a DP Extra that weighed 16+lbs and it flew great. My midwest Extra weighed 18lbs and it flew great too. This is a pretty big plane and I think it will support the weight with no problems. (I hope)

Bryan, I will need your help getting the weight down on this plane. I will need you to trade me your BME 50 for my Sachs! That would save me a little over a pound.

On a good set of digital scales like mine, I would be very suprised to see any of these weigh less than 15lbs with a gas motor. THat is unless it was really tail heavy.
