It has been a great learning experience reading all the expert advice for the DP 330L. I have always had an extra for a sport plane (60 size) now want to move up. I have read so many threads on the in/outs, advan/disadvan, pros/cons etc on the DP 330L. There are so many experienced modelers out there but I would like to thank one particular person, Mr Bill Pryor for all the insight I got from him by just reading his replies/concerns.
I would like to ask Mr Pryor (and others) his recommendations on what equipment is best for the DP 330L. If you were to build another 330L, would you use the same equipment you have in yours now or would you change??if so what? I have heard so many different combo's and I am trying to get the best combos

What engine...Taurus 2.6, BME 44........???
What servos...JR8411, Hitec 5645/5945s, what Futaba servos?(I am using a Futaba 9C/R149DP)
Which control horns/pushrods?
4.8 or 6.0 battery...nicad, duralite Li-ion? size?

I have been flying sport/pattern for about 13 years and have lots of experience flying and less building. It would be my first gasser but I know where to go for help.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
