MEC, & others: I put my CG at 25% of the wing cord, regardless of what the plans showed, and this worked out well. This amounts to 2.5" back from the leading edge of the wing.

Regarding ground handling, well if you don't mind deviating from scale a little bit, then you might consider spreading the main gear a little. You can re-drill the holes that accepts the LG gear anchor stubs, 2" out from the existing ones on each wing. This results in increasing the wheel stance 4". The aircraft still looks good, and is a lot more pleasant during rollout after touch-down. Like no wing dragging, or ground looping !

Oh, regarding availability, I don't have a clue.
