RE: New Hanger 9 p-51 mustang **Trainer?!?**
Yes Mr. Campbell I'm using my "wall wart" charger, I'm using a Futaba model # FBC-19B(4) "wall wart"
plug in charger. It's output is 70ma for a 9.6 volt (Transmitter) and 100ma for a 4.8 volt (Reciever)
That IS what I'm saying and it is TRUE! My Tx battery is FULLY charged at 11.5 volts and my Rx battery
is FULLY charged at 6.9 volts. I assure you when I say I can fly " All Day" I'm talking 15 to 20 Flights
AT 12 to 15 mins. per flight, and my Tx is at 9.8 to 10.0 volts, and my Rx is at 6.1 volts!! Your not
going to get that out of any 600ma battery. When I use my Quick Field Charger MkII ( HOBBICO)
I set it at 0.2 amps,It charges them, but not as fully as my wall charger. This IS TRUE! I've been using
the same 2300ma batteries in the same 6 Airplanes for over a year now, flying 2 to 3 times a week
each plane has it's own battery, and my transmitters been using the same 2800ma battery, without
a hint of trouble. THIS IS TRUE. I surely don't mind being corrected,And I'm sure I still have many
more things to learn about this Hobby. But this particular topic I'm positive about. I have 17 mos. of
experiencing this (again 2 or 3 times a Wk) to back it up. YES Mr. Campbell thats what I'm saying and
it IS TRUE !!
THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY..........RICK
