Hi guys,when i scratch built my reeves 1/4 scale spitfire i used poster board cut to fit in the wheel well area (wheel cup),then fiberglassed over with 3/4 ounce cloth,using polycrylic,it worked great,ive also used this technique for other areas that were tough bends,and had no structual signifigance.
