Default RE: Looking for a FLAT clearcoat

It may very well be milky in the can as the flattener is what it milky. We sell a clear coat and we can add a flattener to it. When we are trying to dial in an FS color AND it's flat, we always go a little darker because of the "milky" white in the flattener. If you are competing with this aircraft, you might keep this in mind. If you aren't competing with it, then its not that big of a deal. Also if you go very very flat, any oil on your hands handling the aircraft becomes a shiny spot.

Try Jerry Nelson's flat and keep in mind it may give a little lighter finish.
